Western Sahara: New mine victim

A landmine detonated last week near the Morocco military wall of sand in an area close to the region of Tifariti, killing immediately herdsman Hamdi Sidahmed, who was born in 1973 and bore Mauritanian identity.
The explosion took place as the herdsman was grazing his camels in the area which brings a lot of livestock in search of pasture leading to such incidents.
It should be noted that the Moroccan regime does not permit the demining of this area that stretches 5 km.
